As mentioned, Sheriff-protected products are normally automatically licensed on installation.

To manually license a product, click on License and a License Product dialog box displays your Reference Code. Inform the software publisher of the Reference Code and you will be issued with a 40-digit licence key. Make a note of the licence key number, enter it in the License box and click on Save to enable the licence. The software program will now run normally. It can be important that you make a note of the licence key (see below).

Regenerating a Licence File with a Reusable Licence Key

Provided your licence is not exportable or set to expire (E.g. on a particular date or after a set number of days) it is possible that your publisher has issued you with a 'Reusable' licence key. This means that you will be able to regenerate the licence file on the same machine* in the event that it is overwritten or damaged. Enter the licence key number into the Licence Product dialog box and click Save to regenerate the licence file.
